Dang, 2024 has been a hell of a year so far. I kicked off the year with a case of Covid and Influenza B. Really messed with my mojo and my plans to make this my year. I kicked it and got into my routine of doing yoga, going to agility classes with my Snorkie, and promoting my books. Then, this week, it happened again. Yup. You got it. Covid AND Influenza B. I didn’t even know that was a thing. It’s especially irritating after I’ve been trying so hard to be healthier.

But . . . this morning I woke up after sleeping well (only 1 coughing fit overnight!) and I can breathe! My headache is nearly gone. My throat isn’t raw. No fever. I think I’m finally on the mend.

And now the wheels in my brain have started to turn. There is so much going on. So many things I need to do. Taxes. Advertising. Writing.

Sweet Secrets is a cozy mystery about a paralegal running from her past who attends her first corporate retreat for Keene Beans Gourmet Jelly Beans and stumbles upon a dead body. With a storm raging around the mansion, Charli has to figure out who is keeping a deadly secret before anyone else dies.
